This October 21st, agave aficionados around the world will be celebrating all things Mezcal.

Mezcal versus Tequila

Unlike tequila which exclusively uses the Blue Weber Agave for production, Mezcal can use any agave.

They're all the same plant but they have different varieties. Mezcal is made from all 40 of them, and it can be made from wild and cultivated agave.

Although the main way to enjoy mezcal is “Beso de Mezcal” sipping ritual.

However, cocktails are trending and are an important way for guests to discover mezcal for the first time.
