International Whisky Day is a global celebration dedicated to the appreciation of one of the world's most beloved spirits. We are thrilled to honor this day by spotlighting two exceptional whisky brands: Chivas Regal and Redbreast. Join us in raising a glass to the rich heritage, craftsmanship, and diverse flavors of whisky.
Chivas Regal 12 Year Old - Classic Highball
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Chivas Regal 12 Year Old
- Soda water
- Lemon twist, for garnish
Instructions:
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Pour Chivas Regal 12 Year Old over the ice.
- Top with soda water.
- Stir gently and garnish with a lemon twist.
Chivas Regal 18 Year Old - Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Chivas Regal 18 Year Old
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Orange twist, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a mixing glass, combine Chivas Regal 18 Year Old, simple syrup, and bitters.
- Add ice and stir until well-chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
Redbreast 15 Year Old - Whiskey Sour
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Redbreast 15 Year Old
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 0.75 oz simple syrup
- Egg white (optional for a frothy texture)
- Lemon wheel and cherry, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a shaker, combine Redbreast 15 Year Old, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using).
- Dry shake (without ice) to emulsify the egg white.
- Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and cherry.
