Shaken, Stirred, and Celebrated: International Martini Day with Absolut

Passion Fruit Martini

Ingredients: 

• 30ml Absolut Vodka
• 25ml Passion Fruit Purée
• 20ml Lemon Juice
• 20ml Simple Syrup
• 15ml Passion fruit Liqueurs
• 1Half Passion fruit
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Cut a Lemon in half using a Paring Knife.
2. Extract the juice of one Lemon half using a Citrus Elbow into a Jigger, then measure and pour the Lemon Juice into the smaller tin of your Boston Shaker.
3. Measure and pour Simple Syrup into the Shaker.
4. Measure and pour Passion Fruit Purée, followed by Passion Fruit Liqueur into the Shaker.
5. Measure and pour Absolut Vodka into the Shaker.
6. Fill the Shaker with Ice Cubes.
7. Connect both the larger and smaller tin of your Boston Shaker together and shake vigorously.
8. Place a Hawthorne Strainer over the larger tin of your Shaker and pour the cocktail directly into a Martini Glass.
9. Cut a Passion Fruit in half using a Paring Knife and place one half directly into your cocktail to garnish.
10. Sip and enjoy!

Absolut Pear Martini

Ingredients:

• 45ml Absolut Pears
• 25ml Simple Syrup
• 15ml Lemon Juice
• 15ml Pear Puree
• 1Slice Pear
• 1Twist Lemon Zest
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Cut one Lemon in half using a Paring Knife.
2. Use a Citrus Elbow to squeeze the juice of half a Lemon into a Jigger or other measuring tool and set the other half of the Lemon aside for garnishing later.
3. Pour the Fresh Lemon Juice into a Boston Shaker.
4. Measure and pour Pear Purée into the Shaker.
5. Measure and pour in Simple Syrup, followed by Absolut Pears.
6. Fill the Shaker with Ice Cubes and shake vigorously.
7. Place a Hawthorne Strainer over the larger tin of your Boston Shaker.
8. Double strain the cocktail by pouring it through a Fine Mesh Strainer directly into a Martini Glass.
9. Use a Peeler to peel a Lemon Twist from the Lemon half you set aside earlier.
10. Squeeze the Lemon Twist over your cocktail before placing it directly into your Glass.
11. Sip and enjoy!

Vodka Martini

Ingredients:

• 45ml Absolut Vodka
• 5ml Dry Vermouth
• 1Twist Lemon Zest
• 1Whole Green Olive
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Fill up a Mixing Glass with Ice Cubes.
2. Pour in the Absolut Vodka.
3. Add the Dry Vermouth.
4. Gently stir with a Bar Spoon until chilled.
5. Strain the mix using a Fine Mesh Strainer into an ice-cold Martini Glass.
6. Garnish with a twist of Lemon Zest and a Green Olive on top. Voila, your Vodka Martini is ready.
7. Sip and enjoy!

Blue Doplhin Martini

Ingredients

• 45ml Absolut Vodka
• 10ml Blue Curacao
• 10ml Peach Schnapps
• Ice Cubes

Method

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes.
2. Add all ingredients.
3. Stir and strain into a cocktail glass.

Espresso Martini

Ingredients:

• 40ml Absolut Vanilia
• 25ml Espresso
• 25ml Kahlúa
• 1Whole Vanilla Pod
• 2Whole Coffee Beans
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Fill a Boston Shaker with Ice Cubes.
2. Add all ingredients.
3. Shake and double strain into a chilled Cocktail Glass.
4. Garnish with a Vanilla Bean and a Coffee Bean.
5. Fill a Boston Shaker with Ice Cubes.
6. Add all ingredients.
7. Shake and double strain into a chilled Cocktail Glass.
8. Garnish with a Vanilla Bean and a Coffee Bean.

French martini

Ingredients:

• 45ml Absolut Vodka
• 45ml Pineapple Juice
• 15ml Raspberry Liqueur
• 1Leaf Pineapple
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add all ingredients.
3. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with a pineapple leaf.

Lemon drop martini

Ingredients:

• 45ml Absolut Citron
• 30ml Lemon Juice
• 10ml Simple Syrup
• 10ml Triple Sec
• 1Twist Lemon Zest
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Cut one Lemon in half using a Paring Knife.
2. Squeeze the juice of half a Lemon into a small Measuring Cup using a Citrus Elbow and set the other half aside for later.
3. Measure and pour the fresh Lemon Juice into a Boston Cocktail Shaker.
4. Measure and pour Simple Syrup into the Shaker using a Jigger, followed by Triple Sec, and lastly Absolut Citron.
5. Fill the Shaker with Ice Cubes and shake vigorously until perfectly chilled.
6. Place a Hawthorne Strainer over the larger tin of your Boston Shaker. Double strain the mixture by pouring it through a Fine Mesh Strainer directly into a Martini Glass.
7. Peel a Lemon Zest Twist from the other Lemon half using a Peeler.
8. Squeeze the Lemon Zest over your drink before placing it directly into your Glass.
9. Sip and enjoy!

Lychee martini

Ingredients: 

• 45ml Absolut Vodka
• 15ml Lychee Liqueur
• 1Whole Lychee
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Use a Jigger to measure and pour Absolut Vodka into a Mixing Glass.
2. Measure and pour Lychee Liqueur into the Mixing Glass.
3. Fill the Mixing Glass with Ice Cubes.
4. Stir the mixture with a Bar Spoon until it’s chilled and diluted to your liking.
5. Place a Julep Strainer over the Mixing Glass then pour the cocktail into a Martini Glass.
6. Place a single Lychee onto a Cocktail Stick and position it over the top of your Martini Glass. Or do what I like to do, place two on a toothpick and add them to the drink.
7. Sip and enjoy!

Pineapple Martini

Ingredients:

• 40ml Absolut Vodka
• 50ml Pineapple Juice
• 1Wedge Pineapple

Method:

1. Gather all your ingredients and tools: Absolut Vodka, pineapple juice, a pineapple wedge, strainer, jigger, knife, muddler, and a Boston shaker.
2. Pour the vodka and pineapple juice into the shaker.
3. Give it a good shake! Make sure it’s well-mixed.
4. Strain your mix into a chilled cocktail glass. This helps to keep your drink cool without diluting the flavors.
5. Cut a wedge of pineapple to garnish your cocktail.
6. Sit back, sip, and enjoy your Pineapple Martini responsibly!

Pink martini

Ingredients:

• 40ml Absolut Vodka
• 20ml Dry Vermouth
• 4Dashes Orange Bitters
• 2Teaspoons Grenadine
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add the vodka, Dry Vermouth, Orange Bitters, and the Grenadine.
3. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.

Pornstar martini

Ingredients:

• 45ml Absolut Vanilia
• 25ml Passion Fruit Purée
• 15ml Vanilla Syrup
• 1Slice Pineapple
• 1Half Passion fruit
• Champagne (or Prosecco)
• Ice Cubes

Method:

1. Using a Paring Knife, cut a medium-thick Pineapple Slice.
2. Grab a Cocktail Shaker and add the Pineapple Slice.
3. Use a Muddler to mash up the Pineapple.
4. Pour Absolut Vanilia, Passion Fruit Pulp, Vanilla Syrup, and Passion Fruit Purée into the Shaker.
5. Add Ice Cubes to the Shaker.
6. Give everything a vigorous shake.
7. Grab a Hawthorne Strainer together with a Fine Strainer and double strain the mix into a chilled Cocktail Glass.
8. Using a Paring Knife, cut one Passion Fruit in half.
9. Top off your cocktail with a floating half of Passion Fruit.
10. Serve alongside a shot of ice-cold Champagne (or Prosecco) and enjoy!
