Juliette Larrouy trained in Michelin-starred kitchens before moving behind the bar. She worked with Two Schmucks in Barcelona (#7 WBB 2022), then co-founded Schmuck in New York in 2025.
Originally from the South of France, she started her hospitality journey at 14 years old as a server in a local restaurant. At 18 she moved to Paris to attend culinary school, learning classic French cooking and working at Michelin-starred restaurants. In 2016, after a year working as a sous-chef under chef Claude Colliot, Juliette felt drawn to bar operations and joined the award-winning team at Le Syndicat, serving four years as manager.
