The Mint Julep is a classic cocktail perfect for a hot summers day. It can also be made with Bourbon or Rye. 4 Part Martell VSOP 1/2 Part Simple Syrup 8 Mint Leaves Glass: Julep Cup Mint Sprig 1. Pour the Cognac and simple syrup into a Julep cup. 2. Add a handful of mint leaves. 3. Add a scoop of crushed ice. 4. Stir well with a bar spoon. 5. Top with crushed ice. 6. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
