The Long Island Iced Tea was created in the 1970’s back when things were a little more simple. The drink consists of equal measures of five main ingredients. 2/3 Part Absolut Vodka 2/3 Part Beefeater Gin 2/3 Part Havana Club 3 Year Old 2/3 Part Olmeca Reposado Tequila 2/3 Part Triple Sec 1 1/3 Part Lemon Juice 1 1/3 Part Cola Glass: Highball Lemon or Lime Wedge 1. Add equal measures of vodka, tequila, gin, rum and triple sec to a highball glass. 2. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir together with a bar spoon. 3. Fill the glass with ice. 4. Top with Cola. 5. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
