Malinalli reSIPe
Ingredients:
45 ml Del Maguey Vida Clásico mezcal
22 ml fresh lime juice
15 ml agave nectar
15 ml green herbal liqueur (e.g. Green Chartreuse or another herbal spirit)
3–4 fresh mint leaves
Ice
Mint sprig and lime wheel, for garnish
Instructions:
Muddle 3–4 mint leaves in a cocktail shaker to release their oils and aroma. Be gentle to not shred the leaves.
Pour in the mezcal, lime juice, agave nectar, and green herbal liqueur.
Add a handful of ice to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to chill and combine the ingredients.
Double strain (using both a cocktail strainer and a fine mesh sieve) into a chilled coupe or rocks glass to remove mint bits and achieve a smooth texture.
Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a lime wheel. Serve immediately for a crisp, aromatic experience.
