About this Event

World Mojito Day, celebrated on July 11th, honours the iconic Cuban cocktail that dates back to the 16th century when Sir Francis Drake created a medicinal concoction that evolved into the mojito. This refreshing drink, made with white rum, lime juice, sugar, mint, and soda water, has become a global favourite.

Celebrate the day by mastering a classic mojito, try out our reSIPe below:
25 ml fresh lime juice
2 Teaspoons sugar in a glass
2 mint sprigs
50 ml Havana Club Añejo 3 Años rum
3 ice cubes
Top up with sparkling water
Mix the sugar and fresh lime juice in a glass, then muddle the mint sprigs in the mixture. Add the white rum and ice cubes, mix again, top up with sparkling water, and garnish with a mint sprig. Enjoy!
