The Rob Roy was created in 1894 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Crafted to celebrate the Broadway show dedicated to the life of Rob Roy Macgregor an infamous Scottish outlaw. 2 Part Chivas Regal 18 Year Old ½ Part Lillet Blanc ½ Part Lillet Rouge 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters Glass: Cocktail Orange Peel Twist 1. Take a mixing glass and fill with ice. 2. Measure in whisky and equal parts sweet and dry vermouth. 3. Add a couple of dashes of Angostura Bitters. 4. Stir with a bar spoon until correct dilution and temperature is reached. 5. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. 6. Take a slice of orange peel, spritz over the glass and drop in.
